CHALLENGE
Samsung needed a locally relevant way to support its global Do What You Can't platform and demonstrate the Galaxy camera's advanced night photography capabilities to a Gen Z audience.
The challenge was not simply to show that the phone could take great pictures at night — but to turn that product capability into something culturally interesting enough to earn attention.
CREATIVE OPPORTUNITY
Once a year, when the clocks move forward for daylight saving time, an entire hour disappears.
An hour that technically never happens.
That gave us a strange opportunity perfectly suited to both the product and Samsung's Do What You Can't philosophy:
IDEA
Photograph the hour that doesn't exist.
Lostography invited emerging photographers from MOME to use Samsung Galaxy devices to capture and interpret the mysterious "lost hour" through night photography.
EXECUTION
Created in collaboration with MOME students and educators, the resulting work
was published through Samsung's channels — turning a camera demonstration into
a showcase for the next generation of visual artists.

IDEA
CAN A COMPLIMENT CHANGE THE WAY YOU SEE YOURSELF?
We created Compliments, a series of real-life social experiments exploring what happens when women receive unexpected compliments.
Rather than simply advertising Dove's message about beauty and self-confidence, we put that message into people's lives and filmed what happened.
EXECUTION
The campaign unfolded through a series of real-life experiments.
BEYOND THE FILMS
The social experiments became the heart of a wider integrated campaign.
The films were supported by guerrilla compliment posters, compliment cards, live compliment-collecting events and PR activities, extending the idea beyond advertising and creating a broader conversation around beauty and female self-confidence.
IMPACT
The campaign moved beyond paid advertising and generated earned media around women's self-confidence and perceptions of beauty.
The research findings and the campaign became topics in mainstream media, including national television, extending the conversation beyond Dove's own channels.

Can a compliment change the way you see yourself?
MY ROLE
Creative Director · Core Creative Concept · Campaign Architecture · Copywriting · Creative Direction
I originated the core campaign idea and developed its creative architecture from the initial research findings through all three social experiments. As Creative Director and copywriter, I led the creative process throughout development and production, working with the art director, production and wider team to bring each activation to life. I also helped represent the campaign and its underlying topic in earned media.
CHALLENGE
SMS had gone from exciting new technology to pure utility.
For djuice, a youth mobile brand offering cheaper text messaging, the challenge was simple:
How could we give young people a reason to send more SMS again?
IDEA
SEND AN SMS. SMS BANDI WILL SING IT.
We created SMS Bandi — a deliberately kitschy musician whose only job was to turn people's text messages into songs.
Users sent an SMS to a dedicated number. Bandi received it in his studio, improvised a song from the message and performed it live online. The song could then be downloaded and shared.
The
product wasn't advertised around the entertainment.
The product powered the entertainment.
EXECUTION
Bandi's studio was built inside our agency, where he performed incoming messages for eight hours a day. As the campaign grew, his clothes, instruments and other iconic possessions were auctioned to fans — not for money, but for SMS bids.
Every part of the experience gave people another reason to text.
IMPACT
SMS Bandi grew beyond the campaign itself, generating widespread participation and earned attention across TV, radio and online media.

CHALLENGE
Launch the all-electric Fiat 500e as a choice that can contribute to a more sustainable way of living.
INSIGHT
Climate change is already changing the seasons as we know them. Winters get warmer, summers longer, and the traditional boundaries between seasons are becoming less predictable.
IDEA
We made the disappearing seasons tangible by taking them away from something everyone knows: the Four Seasons pizza.
Together with Donna Mamma Pizza, we created a Four Seasons pizza with only two seasons left — delivered, naturally, by the all-electric Fiat 500e.
EXECUTION
The activation brought together the Fiat 500e and Donna Mamma Pizza in a simple physical demonstration of the campaign idea, supported by branded packaging, digital communication, banners and PR.
IMPACT
The campaign generated PR coverage around the launch and sustainability message.
FIAT 500e — FOUR SEASONS
What if climate change made the Four Seasons disappear — even from a pizza?
MY ROLE
Creative Group Head
I led the creative team responsible for developing the campaign, guiding the idea and its execution from the brief through creative development and final delivery.
CHALLENGE
Samsung wanted to introduce the Galaxy Z Flip4 to Gen Z — an audience that values self-expression, personalisation and new ways of looking at the world.
Rather than simply demonstrating the phone's features, we wanted to show what its philosophy of flexibility, individuality and breaking boundaries could inspire.
IDEA
TURN THE Z FLIP4 INTO A FASHION BRIEF.
We invited three young Hungarian designers to reinterpret the ideas behind the Galaxy Z Flip4 through fashion.
Inspired by its unconventional form and creative freedom, they pushed the boundaries of traditional clothing to create three entirely digital fashion collections.
EXECUTION
The collections were presented inside a virtual showroom entered through an AR gateway, allowing visitors to step into the designers' digital world.
The experience expanded across Samsung and the designers' social channels, digital content, banners, citylights and holographic shop windows.
The pieces were released as limited NFTs, accompanied by a fashion shoot and dedicated online content documenting the designers' creative process.
For every digital accessory sold, a tree was planted through the Plant a Tree project — connecting experimentation in digital fashion with a more sustainable perspective on creativity.

I led the creative development of the project together with the creative team, guiding the work from the initial brief and strategic territory through the campaign concept and its execution across physical, digital and virtual touchpoints.
CHALLENGE
Várda was a century-old Hungarian liquor with strong local roots but little recognition nationally. In a category dominated by established brands, the challenge was essentially a launch: how do you convince the rest of the country to discover a drink that has already been waiting 100 years to be discovered?
CREATIVE OPPORTUNITY
Várda had been around for 100 years — yet most Hungarians had never tried it. Instead of hiding the brand's lack of national awareness, we decided to be completely honest about it. That honesty became the brand voice.
IDEA
HAVE YOU TRIED IT? HONESTLY.
We turned Várda's biggest disadvantage into its communication platform: most people simply didn't know it. Rather than pretending to be an established national brand, Várda openly acknowledged that it had been waiting 100 years to be discovered.
EXECUTION
The idea became an integrated campaign built around radically honest, context-specific communication across film, outdoor, digital and social.
At a bus stop, for example, Várda acknowledged the wait itself:
"We know what waiting feels like. We've been waiting 100 years to be discovered."
Dozens of contextual headlines responded directly to where, when and why people encountered the campaign — always leading back to one simple question:
Have you tried it? Honestly.
IMPACT
+68% SALES year-on-year // 2M people reached through TV// 17M YouTube impressions// 5MInstagram & Facebook impressions // 48% OOH reach among 18–49

SELECTED FILMS
Some stories need a campaign. Others just need 30 seconds.
A selection of films built around simple product truths, human observations and occasionally very strange ideas.
TIBI CHOCOLATE - IT DOESN'T CHANGE A THING!
3 films · category convention / copy / humour
THE COUCH
Can chocolate bring the old fire back?
A couple share a piece of Tibi while watching TV and wait for the promised effect.
Nothing happens.
THE
OFFICE PARTY
Can chocolate give you the confidence to make
your move?
A shy guy tries Tibi before approaching a girl.
Still shy.
THE
EFFECT
Energy. Passion. Escape. Can chocolate really
do all that?
We put every exaggerated chocolate promise to the test.
No magic. No transformation.
Just very, very delicious chocolate.
MY ROLE
Core Creative Concept · Copywriting
I originated the campaign platform and wrote the films, turning exaggerated category promises into a deliberately honest positioning for Tibi.
VODAFONE — FAMILY PACKAGE
2 films · human insight / storytelling
VODAFONE — FAMILY
YOU CAN'T CHOOSE YOUR FAMILY. BUT YOU CAN SAVE WITH THEM.
Families can be embarrassing, intrusive and sometimes spectacularly inappropriate.
Luckily, Vodafone's Family Offer gave you a reason to stick with them: the more family members joined, the more you could save.
THE THEATRE
Some parents will always see you as their little boy. Even when you're 30. And performing the lead role on stage.
Arriving late and making sure everyone notices, an overenthusiastic father loudly praises his son's performance while his worried mother tries to protect him from the dangers of historical drama.
Unfortunately, the rest of the audience is there too.
THE WEDDING
Nothing says "we love you" like a giant homemade stone sculpture. With lights. And fireworks.
After weeks of secret carving, the parents proudly unveil their spectacular wedding present in front of everyone.
It's enormous. It flashes in different colours. And yes, it has built-in fireworks.
Because you can't choose your family.
But at least you can save with them.
MY ROLE
Creative Director · Concept · Copywriting
I developed the campaign concept and wrote the films, turning a simple family tariff benefit into stories about a universal human truth: we may not get to choose our families, but we're stuck with them anyway.
VODAFONE — JUST CAN'T HANG UP
2 films · human insight / storytelling
WHEN TALKING TO EACH OTHER COSTS NOTHING, WHY WOULD YOU EVER STOP?
Vodafone offered couples zero-forint calls to each other — plus two phones for the price of one.
So we created couples who simply couldn't stop talking.
In one film, an endlessly affectionate couple gets trapped in the classic "You hang up first" routine.
In another, they compete over who loves the other more.
The people forced to listen to them are considerably less enthusiastic.

DJUICE — CABLE TVC
Product Truth / Visual Idea / Surrealism
DJUICE — MAKE IT NIGHT
WHY WAIT FOR CHEAPER NIGHT-TIME RATES WHEN YOU CAN JUST TURN OFF THE DAY?
djuice offered cheaper calls and texts at night.
So a group of young people find a cable sticking out of the ground and start pulling.
More and more people join in, until they uncover a gigantic plug — and unplug the day itself.
The sun disappears. Night falls.
And everyone starts calling and texting.
Sometimes the simplest way to demonstrate a product benefit is to take it completely literally.
MY ROLE
Creative Group Head · Concept · Copywriting
I developed the core idea and campaign concept, turning a simple tariff benefit — cheaper communication at night — into one surreal visual metaphor.
DJUICE — FIND YOUR OLD PHONE
Product Truth / Surreal Comedy / Trade-in
WHEREVER YOUR OLD PHONE ENDED UP, FIND IT. IT'S WORTH SOMETHING.
Old phones have a habit of disappearing in the strangest places.
Normally, you might just give up.
But djuice was running a trade-in offer: bring in your old phone and exchange it for a better one.
So wherever yours ended up, it was suddenly worth finding.
THE FILMS
THE CHICKEN
A butcher discovers that a missing mobile phone has somehow ended up inside a chicken. Awkward. But with a trade-in offer waiting, you're going to want that phone back.
THE MONKEY
A phone disappears into an even less convenient place: inside a monkey. Getting it back might take some patience. But an old phone is worth finding when you can trade it for a better one.
MY ROLE
Creative Group Head · Concept · Copywriting
I developed the campaign concept and wrote the films, turning a straightforward trade-in promotion into a series of surreal stories about old phones worth recovering — wherever they might have ended up.
FUNDAMENTA — WHAT IS A HOME MADE OF?
Product Truth / Creative Platform / Copywriting
FUNDAMENTA — WHAT IS A HOME MADE OF?
A home is made of walls, furniture, pipes, appliances — and Fundamenta.
Fundamenta helps people save towards buying, building or renovating their homes.
So instead of explaining a financial product, we made Fundamenta part of the answer to a very simple question:
What is this made of?
An apartment?
Walls, a built-in wardrobe — and Fundamenta.
A heating system?
Pipes, fire — and Fundamenta.
A new kitchen?
Kitchen furniture, a built-in oven — and Fundamenta.
Across three films, the same simple idea turned an abstract financial service into a tangible ingredient of creating a home.

About Me

I'm Dezső, a senior creative based in Lisbon, working remotely with teams and brands across markets.
I started in advertising as a copywriter more than 20 years ago and somehow never stopped making things. Along the way, I became a Creative Group Head, Creative Director, agency owner — and eventually returned to what I enjoy most: being close to the work.
I like starting with a real problem. Understanding the brief, finding the human insight or product truth hidden inside it, and turning that into a simple idea that can grow into a campaign.
Sometimes that means a film. Sometimes an activation, a brand platform or a digital experience. Sometimes it means making two seasons disappear from a Four Seasons pizza or literally unplugging the day to make night-time phone calls cheaper.
I still write. I still make concepts. I still present them. And I still love seeing an idea become real.
Today, AI has become part of that process. I use it for research, exploration, visual development, storyboarding and rapid prototyping — not to replace creative thinking, but to move from thinking to making faster.
After years of leading creative teams, I'm equally comfortable originating ideas myself or helping other creatives develop theirs.
And after more than two decades in advertising, I'm still curious about the same thing:
What's the simplest, most interesting way to solve this problem?
WHEN I'M NOT DOING THIS
I live in Lisbon, make things with my hands, have a professional qualification in carpentry, and run a small independent apparel project called Over the Rainbow Lisboa, created for the LGBTQ+ community.
I apparently have trouble not creating things.
